There are eighteen of us, and most started on a Saturday shift. We’re hiring for two jobs at the moment.

Early baker

Full time, 40 hours, Tuesday to Saturday. Shifts 4.30am to 12.30pm. £13.40 to £14.20 an hour depending on experience.
Closing date Monday 23 November 2026.

You’ll be one of three bakers on the early shift, weighing, scooping and baking around 3,000 cookies a morning for the shop, the vending routes and our cafés. You’ll learn every recipe, run the deck ovens, and help Callum keep the bakehouse spotless and the allergen controls tight.

You’ll need

  • Experience in a bakery, pastry section or busy production kitchen
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, or willingness to get one in your first month (we pay)
  • To genuinely not mind the alarm going off at 3.45am
  • A way to get to Kelham Island before the trams start

Vending route driver

Part time, 25 hours, Monday to Friday, 6am to 11am. £13.20 an hour plus a paid break.
Closing date Monday 23 November 2026.

You’ll drive one of our electric vans on a set morning route of around twelve sites, restocking machines, taking out anything past 48 hours, wiping down glass and reporting faults. Most of your sites are offices and a hospital, so you’ll be signing in at receptions and getting to know facilities teams.

You’ll need

  • A full UK driving licence held for at least two years
  • To be comfortable lifting crates of up to 12kg
  • Good timekeeping: hosts expect their machine full before 9.30am
  • A friendly manner with reception and security staff
